Itinerary
 

Day 1 Kathmandu

On arrival at Kathmandu airport meet & greet by our representative and transfer to your hotel. Overnight Hotel stay at Kathmandu.

 
 

Day 2 Kathmandu– Pashupatinath & Boudhnath Tour– City & Swayambunath

After breakfast join for a half day tour of Pashupatinath and Boudhnath Temples.

Boudhnath stupa: Situated at 11 km from Kathmandu city it is one of the biggest structure of its kind. Built by King Man Deva on an octagonal base inset with prayer wheels, the shrine is ringed by houses of the Lamas and Buddhist priests.

Pashupatinath: On the banks of the famous Bagmati River 6 km from Kathmandu city, it is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is built in pagoda style, has a gilded roof and richly carved doors. Permitted entry for Hindus religion followers only.

Afternoon visit.

Visit Durbar Square, a UNESCO world heritage site. Clustered around the Durbar Square and the old Royal Palace (Hanuman Dhoka) are numerous interesting temples:-

Kastamandap temple. Said to have been built from the wood of a single tree, Kal Bhairab, the God of Destruction, temple of Akash Bhairab, the God of Rain.

Swayambhunath stupa one of the world's most glorious Buddhist Chaityas also known as Monkey Temple - a UNESCO heritage site. Overnight.

 
 

Day 3 Kathmandu – Chitwan (155 kms-5-6 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Chitwan (5- 6 hrs) The route is quite scenic. En-route visit Manakamana, take a cable car ride for a spectacular view of the mountains. On arrival at the resort, at The Royal National Chitwan National Park, get brief from naturalist on wildlife programs and the lodge /camp facilities. The Park is famous for its variety of wildlife, especially the Great Indian One Horned Rhino and the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger.

Day 4 Chitwan

After Breakfast, enjoy jungle activities all day as per the lodge program - an excellent opportunity for bird watching and chances to see a variety of animals like deer, wild boar, rhinoceros, monkey, sloth bear, gaur and more. Overnight.
 
 

Day 5 Chitwan-Pokhara (135 kms- 4-5 hrs)

After Breakfast, drive to Pokhara (6 hrs), enroute enjoy the scenery along the hilly road & river. Arrive and check in at your hotel. Go boating on Phewa Lake.

Day 6 Pokhara–Half Day Tour

After Breakfast, go for a half day sightseeing tour of Pohkara. The place is surrounded by snow-clad peaks, snow fed lakes and rivers thereby making Pokhara one of the most picturesque attractions in the Nepal. Have a closest peak at the the Great Himalayan Peaks & admire them from such a close distance. You can also visit the Bindhyavasani Temple and Phewa Lake.

Day 7 Pokhra-Kathmandu (209 kms. 6-7hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu (6 -7 hrs). The highway follows a series of deep river valleys, villages and cascading rice terraces. Arrive Kathmandu and check in at your hotel. Rest of the day free to explore or shop on your own. Overnight Hotel stay at Kathmandu.
 
 

Day 8 Kathmandu

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for onward destination.
